TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND DELIVERY
Below you will find useful information in connection with the use of online booking. You can read about how we process your entered information, how you receive your receipt in connection with a purchase and much more. When VEDERSOE is written in the following, it is used as a synonym for Vedersø Strand Camping.
PAYMENT
All prices in the VEDERSOE online booking system, like everywhere else on the website, are stated in Danish kroner including VAT and all taxes unless otherwise stated and clearly stated in the situation in question. Prices stated in Euro are indicative.
Payment is made using one of the accepted payment cards / credit cards for online booking, including Visa, Mastercard and Diners. (We kindly remind you that when paying with a foreign credit card, a surcharge is added.)
INFORMATION ABOUT TRADING ON THE INTERNET
You can safely shop on the internet through our online booking system. As a consumer, you are generally protected against any misuse of your credit card online, so there is no deductible for misuse of your payment card via the internet. You can read more about how you as a consumer should deal with payments online on the following websites: www.betaling.dk, www.fdih.dk.
CHANGING A BOOKING
To change a Booking, you must contact the Camping Site.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
When booking and paying for a cabin, a room, a place for your own tent, or a place for your own caravan or motorhome, you will be presented with a Booking confirmation/contract from VEDERSOE, which states the account for your purchase. The contract can be printed from the website after booking has been completed, and is also sent via email immediately after purchase, if the correct email address is provided by the buyer.
Delivery of the ordered product takes place upon arrival at VEDERSOE on the day of arrival (and ends upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned contract. The ordered product cannot be transferred to others or exchanged for cash.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION AND REFUND
You have the option to choose BASIS, FLEX or PREMIUM. The choice must be made at the time of booking and it will not be possible to change to another service after the first payment. Changing a booking means cancellation, changing the type of accommodation or the dates of your stay. You are of course always welcome to change the number of people or additional purchases without having to pay an administration fee. We would like to point out that if one of the above is not chosen, Basis will be the one chosen.
CONDITIONS FOR CHANGING YOUR STAY
1. With Basis you do not have the option to rebook, cancel or get a refund for your booking if you are prevented from arriving.
2. With flex you can rebook and cancel up to 60 days before arrival. However, we would like to point out that there is an administration fee of DKK 200.00 per change, per booking.
3.With Premium you can rebook and cancel up until 12:00 5 days before arrival. However, we would like to point out that there is an administration fee of DKK 200.00 per change, per booking.
Once you have started your holiday with us, the booked period is binding and cannot be transferred to others.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
We would like to point out that your booking is not covered by the Consumer Contracts Act's rules on the right of cancellation. The sale of accommodation (cabins, summer houses, camping etc.) is covered by a special exception in the Consumer Contracts Act's prgf 18, paragraph 2, no. 12. The booking made is therefore not covered by the 14-day right of cancellation.
The contract will be sent via email within 24 hours from the time of booking. Please check that you have provided the correct email address.
Delivery of the ordered product will take place upon arrival at VEDERSOE on the day of arrival (and will be completed upon departure on the day of departure). Both of these times are stated in the above-mentioned rental agreement.
REGISTRATION OF INFORMATION
VEDERSOE registers your name, address, e-mail and other information provided in connection with the purchase in its customer database. The information is not disclosed, but VEDERSOE retains the registration for 5 years.
VEDERSOE uses server-side cookies and a secure connection to ensure the security of the information you provide on the site.
When paying by credit card, the registration takes place via a secure server, where the information is encrypted before being sent over the internet.
VEDERSOE reserves the right to price errors in online booking, so the prices stated on the website always apply.
COMPLAINT PROCESSING
If for some reason you do not receive your contract confirming your purchase, and you have not received an error message from the system, you can write to the address or telephone number below.
Complaints about the booking process, the booking itself or the product (stay) must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error or should have discovered the error by normal review of your contract. You can complain in writing or orally. One year after receipt of the goods (stay), the right to complain ceases in accordance with Section 83, subsection 1 of the Danish Sales Act, unless otherwise agreed.
When VEDERSOE receives your complaint about a product, the complaint will be processed as soon as possible. VEDERSOE will decide whether the received product should be refunded, exchanged or whether a price reduction should be given.
GUEST'S RESPONSIBILITY
The tenant of Vesterhavs Suites, cabins and rooms is fully liable for the furnishings in the rental unit. Defects and damage caused by the tenant are settled upon departure. The person who has entered into the lease is also liable for damage caused by other residents and guests in the rental unit. Cabins, mobile homes and rooms may be occupied by a maximum of the number of people stated in the price list. There must be people over 18 years of age present during the entire stay.
DOG(S)
Dogs are welcome on the campsite and in our cabins, but the dog may not be in the beds or furniture. Dogs are NOT allowed in Vesterhavs Suites and rooms. A separate price is charged for bringing dogs. If dog(s) are brought into our cabins without prepayment, a cleaning fee of DKK 750.00 will be charged
SMOKING POLICY
The entire VEDERSOE is smoke-free indoors.
If you wish to smoke on the campsite grounds, this can only be done outdoors.
All Vesterhavs Suites, cabins, rooms and other indoor areas are smoke-free. This also applies to the use of e-cigarettes.
This means that smoking is only allowed outdoors.
Violation of this will result in a fine of DKK 1,500.00, as well as possible expulsion from the campsite.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE - VESTERHAV SUITES, CABINETS AND ROOMS
Arrival from 3:00 p.m., (Winter period from 31.10 - 01.03 from 2:00 p.m.) Departure no later than 10:00 a.m.
A linen package can be purchased for the stay.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE - CAMPING
The pitch can be expected to be ready from 12:30 p.m. and must be vacated no later than 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.
Specific pitches cannot be guaranteed, but we will of course strive to fulfill your wishes.
PRICES
The prices in VEDERSOE are adjusted continuously and the current prices can be found on our website. We reserve the right to cancel a rental agreement due to typing errors and/or misprints.
FORCE MAJEURE AND SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES
If the implementation of the rental agreement is not possible – or is made significantly more difficult – as a result of force majeure or circumstances that can be equated with this, including but not limited to: War, riots, natural disasters, oil and gasoline rationing, pollution disasters, epidemics, pandemics, cessation of currency trading, unusual weather conditions, drought, floods, border closures, traffic conditions, strikes, lockouts and the like, which could not be foreseen when the rental agreement was concluded, VEDERSOE is entitled to cancel the rental agreement, as VEDERSOE cannot be held liable in the aforementioned cases.
In such cases, VEDERSOE is obliged to notify the tenant as soon as possible. The tenant is not entitled to a refund of the amounts paid. However, the tenant will receive a credit note for the amount paid. The credit note can be used to purchase a new stay within a 3-year period.
